Eric Woolfe’s rendition of Shakespeare’s blood-soaked king, features weird witches, viscera-sopped murders, nightmares of madness, and terrifying occult prophecies crashing head on with our ghoulishly giddy bag of timorous trickery! This mesmerizing take on MacBeth is performed by a solo actor using a diverse range of multi-sized puppets, masks, and parlour magic, cosmic horror, and lowbrow pop, this Mad Mackers is equal parts high tragedy and cartoonish lunacy!

Much like a fringe festival, World in a Weekend is pushing creative boundaries – showcasing puppetry as an art form that is bold, experimental, and above all, for all ages. This flagship festival from SpringWorks~PuppetWorks! (SW~PW) is returning to Stratford, Ontario, this summer, with a line-up of internationally acclaimed artists sure to delight both the young and the young-at-heart.
