Culinary art, education, and fine dining rolled into one
It’s true that food is a part of our culture in Stratford—that’s why we’re lucky to have the Stratford Chefs School right in our city. This not-for-profit career college is focused on the innovative, hands-on training of high-quality, aspiring chefs and culinary entrepreneurs.
Whether training students for a career in food at the Stratford Chefs School or sharing tips during hands-on cooking classes for home cooks, these culinary mentors are always striving to bring the best to you.
“I came to Stratford to attend the Stratford Chefs School thinking it would be a 2-year stopover in my life. That was 12 years ago! The farm-to-table ideals espoused by Stratford Chefs School and the world class products grown in and around Stratford are the central influences in my cooking style.” – Ryan O’Donnell, Executive Chef at Windsor Hospitality.
Under the guidance of the School’s faculty of acclaimed local chefs and guest chefs from Canada and around the world, students produce dishes worthy of the world’s best restaurants. Since its founding in 1983, the School has graduated close to 900 alumni who now contribute to our distinctive Canadian cuisine.
