Velvet Foot (also known as Velvet Shank) evolve from a network of veins beneath the bark of dead hardwoods. They grow in clusters, have sticky caps and very active white spores. October 8 10:00am $35

Found under conifer trees, these fungi grow alongside their sister mushrooms, the Blewits. We’ll also be searching for Velvet Foots, Grey Trichs & Pear Shaped Puffballs. October 22 10:00am $35

Known as Aborted Entoloma, Hunters Heart, Pig Snoot (yuck) & Ground Prune. They begin as a normal mushroom & then morph. We’ll tell you all about them as we search for mushrooms. November 5 10:00am $35
PUCK’S PLENTY FORAGING: LEPISTA IRINA
They are large, sweet tasting and found under both hardwood and conifers. Their distinct quality? Endurance. They manage to stay fresh on the forest floor for up to 3 weeks. November 10 10:00am $35
