Nourish and Savour: A Parent Child Cooking Adventure

Nourish and Savour is a drop-in hands-on food skills program for caregivers and their children. Together we will focus on planning and preparing easy family friendly meals that promote positive eating habits.
Little chefs are encouraged to participate alongside their parents and caregivers. For infants/children that are not helping in the kitchen a play area is available that is monitored by EarlyON staff and volunteers from the Local.
Cooking class participants are invited to arrive from 9:45 am to get settled in. At 10 am, we will go over the recipes together and with the guidance of the Kitchen Skills Educator, work as a team to create a delicious community meal.
If you are unable to commit to the cooking class component, you are invited to join us for the meal!! Feel free to drop in any time after 10:15 am to socialize with other parents and enjoy the community lunch! Lunch is served between 12pm to 12:30pm.
This is a drop-in program.
No registration is required.
