Light Up The Night Kayaking is an opportunity to kayak, canoe, or paddleboard under the stars while meeting new people and friends! All you need are some lights, and your kayak, paddle board, or canoe. Each event has a theme that you are encouraged to participate in them. Remember to ensure you have some form of lights on your vessel such as string lights, headlamps, along with life jackets and safety kids.  The start time of each event will be posted closer to the event date but around dusk, so please allow yourself time to decorate and be on the water for the specified start time.

You can launch anywhere along the south side of the river but many meet and launch at the parking lot at the east end of the river  (121 Lakeside Dr). Regardless of where you launch, you will meet with others on the water at Tom Patterson Island for the event start time. From there we will paddle around the island a few times before heading down the river and back.

Spectators are welcome to view the event from the riverbank.
