Hwy 6 to Embro/401: Replacement of large culvert Aug-Nov

Expect delays but road will not be closed. Hwy 7 detour is suggested as above, if there is an overlap.

Hwy 8 between Stratford and Shakespeare: In progress

Beginning in early June, stretches of this road between the west end of Shakespeare and the east end of Stratford will be reduced on weekdays to a single lane, with flag people controlling traffic in both directions. Delays may be lengthy, so please allow additional time for your trip. (Both lanes are expected to be open on evenings and weekends.)

Each spring, The Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts Stratford hosts 1000s of performers of all ages as they take to the stages of Stratford.  For three weeks, participants showcase their talents in vocal and instrumental music and speech and drama. Professional Adjudicators provide constructive feedback in competitive and non-competitive classes. Focusing on a friendly and inclusive environment, our Festival actively seeks the participation of performers from all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
The Kiwanis Festival - Stratford celebrates the dedication and the achievements of our Artists and encourages the pursuit of excellence in their chosen discipline by awarding over 100 trophies and up to $20,000 annually throughout the Festival and at our Stars of the Festival Grand Finale Concert. 
A member of Ontario Music Festivals Association (, exceptional participants may go on to represent Stratford in Provincial & National Championships.
