Join poet and musician Pamela Jane Gerrand for an afternoon of sumptuous spoken word and music. She will be reading from her new book of poetry, and sharing stories and songs. Joined by musicians Lucas Tensen on cello and Graham Hargrove on percussion, this will be a Sunday afternoon soiree of sound and word to inspire and delight.

“Inspired by the works of Persian poets Rumi and Hafiz, and contemporary poets Mary Oliver and Maya Angelou, Gerrand’s poems are a soft place to land in a harsh world. Tender and triumphant, evocative and incandescent, her tone poems offer both reckoning and reflection. This work is a deepening into the love that takes us over the threshold of our frailty and fear, to the wild horizons that shimmer with infinite possibility and raucous beauty.”

Pamela is delighted to be launching her poetry book in her ‘home town’ of three decades, Stratford, Ontario at the beautiful Revival House.
