Walking Through Fire: Truth and Reconciliation
Sultans of String are touring a critically important new project of collaborations with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit artists, Walking Through the Fire. This show of essential Indigenous voices was inspired by the recommendations of The Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s “94 Calls to Action” that asks for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to work together as an opportunity to show a path forward.
They’re performing with the Stratford Symphony Orchestra on Sept 29, 7:30pm.
(https://www.stratfordsymphony.ca/Walking_Through_Fire, 519-271-0990, info@stratfordsymphonyorchestra.ca ), and hit the road for 25 other performances this Fall/Winter.
