A new cultural star is on the rise in “Stratty”: coming this winter, the inaugural Stratford Winter Film Festival (SWFF)* will take place from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th February 2024.

This year’s threefold theme of food, music and history is designed to appeal to all ages and a wide range of interests.

The motivation behind this initiative is simple: to have a bright and positive annual event occurring in the darkest and quietist trough of our winter, something to help lift the winter blues. The many Stratfordians who have been privy to this project’s development have fully embraced this initiative. Moreover, all stakeholders believe that this festival will be a draw for out-of-towners as well, thereby bolstering the downtown’s economic activity.
