Puck’s Plenty Foraging: The Grey Trich
Late Autumn delivers a gem in the form of the Greys (as well call them). Collected when young, they are wonderful sauteed in butter and garlic. They are quite numerous and found under pine trees both in the forest and, believe it or not, right here in Stratford. Another unique quality about them is that they can be stored in the freezer and used months later. They look and taste just as fresh as the day you picked them.
Join us as we collect other mushrooms such as Velvet Foot, Pear Shaped Puffballs and Autumn Oysters.
