Once the Day Lily Shoots have thickened they send up stems that are home to the flower buds. These buds are absolutely delicious. Initially the taste is reminiscent of asparagus but within a minute a spicy flavour comes across the pallet. They are excellent in soups and stews and make a wonderful addition to pasta dishes.

Along with the Day Lilies we will be harvesting Cow Parslay, Nettles, Sochan and Pheasant Back Mushrooms.
