For the fifth consecutive year, the Falstaff Family Centre (FFC) will host events on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30. These events are intended to foster learning, awareness and inclusivity, as well as an understanding of the impacts of colonialism, including the legacy of residential schools.

The day will begin at 7:30 a.m. on the centre grounds with a Sunrise Ceremony and Indigenous Teachings led by Oneida First Nation Elder and Turtle Clan member Patsy Day. Day offers Grandmother Moon Teachings in the area, providing insights into the natural world and the human spirit.
