Tara Davidson’s Marni Project

Tara Davidson, a Juno Award-winning alto and soprano saxophonist, has been a leading voice in Canadian jazz for over two decades. Known as a pioneering female instrumentalist, she has distinguished herself as a performer, bandleader, composer, arranger and educator.

The Marni Project marks her return to solo band leadership following an 11-year hiatus, a significant milestone in her musical journey. Featuring musicians Florian Hoefner (piano/accordion), Dan Fortin (acoustic bass) and Ethan Ardelli (drums), Davidson’s Marni Project is a captivating new quartet showcasing her original compositions.
