Lest We Forget
Based on letters from the front, articles and advertisements published in a village newspaper from 1915-1918, and featuring Canadian songs of the period, this one- woman show describes how WWI affected the lives of four women in a small community in southern Ontario. Real people, real situations, real events (some amusing, some poignant) are dramatized in this historical revue. Songs from our cultural heritage, such as KKK-Katy, The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise and Till We Meet Again, will send you home humming while reminding you of the sacrifices Canadians made in the hope and belief of making this world a better place.
Featuring BARBARA DUNN-PROSSER. Accompanied by PAUL SHILTON
The show is 1 hour, no intermission. Refreshments (hot cider and sweets) after the show.
Cost: $40.00
