Lantern Making Workshop

Workshop Leader, Jennifer Zylstra, will be ‘illuminating’ the methods and design behind making your own lantern.
Supplies will be provided, but you are encourage to bring your own decor for flair. Apart from making a lantern in preparation for Stratford Lantern Parade Event, attendees can paint a picture of what the seasons mean to them, or their favourite season. Additional artwork will be kept to use in a Lantern Wall, which will be a backdrop for the 360° photo booth for the Stratford Lantern Parade on Oct. 15.
Cost: Pay What You Can Policy with a suggested donation of $15.00 (supplies included)
Attendees are welcome to drop in between 1pm-3pm to participate in the crafts.

Since 1993, Playmakers! Theatre School has offered theatre training and performance opportunities to children and youth in Stratford and the surrounding area, encouraging them to express themselves and their ideas in a compelling and persuasive manner. Playmakers! sponsors a number of annual festivals and events that encourage community arts participation, including a youth Shakespeare festival, the Ghosts of Stratford Theatrical Walking Tours and the Stratford Lantern Parade.
