This concert features two towering Romantic works that will enthrall you. Sarah Pratt returns to perform Brahms’ beautiful, lyrical violin concerto. This monumental work has all the hallmarks of a masterpiece and is deservedly one of the most performed violin concerti. Sarah Pratt, currently performing in the New York City Opera Orchestra, is welcomed back to Stratford by popular demand after her memorable performance with the SSO in 2019.

Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 is certainly one of his most popular. It is sheer joy, with folk-like melodies that stay with you for a lifetime.
