Drop n’ Swap: Books Edition returns this fall. Let’s Share the Love! Drop off your unwanted books, find some “new-to-you” ones to take home.

Join SPL’s sustainability effort to keep unwanted books out of our landfill — clear out your collection, share books that deserve a second chance, and discover new-to-you literary treasures. Free to drop, free to “shop” – no money exchanged at all, no dropping necessary for swapping!

Drop Off Dates/Times:

• THURS SEPT 17 | 5:00 – 8:00 PM
• FRI SEPT 18 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Swap Date/Times:

• Early Bird Access: SAT SEPT 19 | 10:00 – 10:30 AM (for book donors only)
• General Admission: SAT SEPT 19 | 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Only books in good condition will be accepted: (all books are thoroughly vetted)

• YES: Fiction, popular Non-Fiction — all in great shape (plus picture books, audiobooks on CD, graphic novels, YA fiction, world languages, poetry, non-fiction like memoirs, animals, gardening, entertainment, self-help, etc)
• NO: Musty, moldy, smelly, stained, or grimy books
• NO: Non-book materials (dvds, cds, games etc), old textbooks or outdated health information, travel guides over 2 years old)

Donations:

• If you donate items, you will receive an Early Bird ticket that will let you in at 10:00 AM on Saturday for first crack at the swap — with no Early Bird ticket, you may enter at 10:30 AM
• Donations are NOT required to attend the swap, but book donors will be given an early bird ticket!
