Let your inner artist shine with the Body Posi(tive) Paint Event!
This beginner-friendly workshop will be led by queer artist and educator, Heather Poechman, and is specially crafted to foster self-love and body positivity.
All art supplies are provided, so you don’t have to worry about a thing – just show up to allow yourself to be creative in a safe and encouraging environment.
Heather will provide a personalized sketch as the starting off point for your masterpiece, but feel free to get creative with color – it’s like having a personalized paint-by-numbers session!

MEET YOUR HOST: Heather Poechman (They/She) is an artist and educator who helps people understand each other. Before starting their art company, RubiArt, Heather worked in DEI and intercultural roles for over seven years. Heather’s work has been in lots of places like CBC Ottawa, Union Gallery, Kingston School of Art, and TransCare+. Heather lives in St. Marys, Ontario with their partner and is part of the LGBTQ+ community.
