Acclaimed Canadian improvisational keyboardist Bob Wiseman returns to the Stratford Perth Museum for an intimate evening of music, ideas, and live exploration.

Known for his work with Blue Rodeo and a wide-ranging career as a songwriter, composer, and performer, Wiseman turns his attention to Stratford’s own Richard Manuel, legendary member of The Band- not as a historian, but as a fellow musician trying to make sense of another artist’s life and work.

This isn’t a definitive portrait. It’s something more immediate: a mix of songs, stories, questions, and improvisations that circle around Manuel’s influence and legacy without pretending to pin it down.

Drawing on fragments of research, personal perspective, and his own original music, Wiseman creates an evening that is part tribute, part investigation, and part live experiment.

Expect insight, humour, and a few surprises along the way.
