You will learn the art of “throwing” on the wheel, starting with centring your clay and creating a basic cylinder which can then be altered into many different shapes. We will also cover how to make small bowls and shallow dishes. In your third and fourth weeks, students will learn to trim your pieces, attach handles and practice some decorating techniques. Finally, participants will spend time choosing their favourite glaze colours to finish their pieces, making them food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. A total of 10-15 pieces will be created in this class.

No experience necessary, all levels welcome.

Minimum Age 16.

Pieces will be ready for pickup within 4-6 weeks of the last class.
