Avondale United Church is thrilled to be hosting not one, but two Coffee Houses on Saturday, September 19.

Priced at $20.00 per show, (advance ticket price), tickets are available through the church office or ticket scene (QR codes found on the poster); $25.00 at the door, and $10.00 for children twelve and under. Refreshments such as coffee, tea, hot apple cider, and baked goods will be included in the ticket price.

Slated with a rich diversity of performers and storytellers, to maintain the intimate atmosphere of Coffee Houses, this year, Avondale will be offering two timeslots; their matinee will run from 2PM-4:30PM, while their evening show will run from 6:30-9PM.

Promising to feature many faces familiar to the Stratford and area community, the matinee coffee house will comprise of Avondale’s Music Director, Daniel Van Winden, Stratford’s Youth Poet Laureate, Arlo Dunnem, talented musician, and founder of both What’s On Live Stratford and Stringbone, Barry James Payne, , and local musicians Trish & Slim, Cathy Whelan & Karen Rempel, Dave Bates, Elysha Vorstenbosch, and Terri Sparling; Avondale’s evening coffee house features many of the same performers with the addition of Avondale’s Rev. Keith Reynolds.

Each show will foster its own uniqueness and variety; come for one, or come for both!
