Workshop Description: In this two-day workshop, Dauma will share various hand-building techniques she use to make her creatures. She will demo her process of building a Beetle and talk about using sketches to aid the process. You will learn how to use kemper wire, how to decorate surfaces using slip and various other tools, as well as how to achieve crisp clean lines and a visually balanced piece. The skills you’ll learn can be later applied to both sculptural and functional work. Each participant will have the freedom to explore their creative vision
