About 13 Grandmother Moons

We welcome Indigenous educator, Patsy Anne Day of Oneida Nation to share her story of Sky Woman. Followed by her beautiful words, participants will create a medicine pouch inspired by her story and the Four Sacred Medicines.

Program Notes

–13 Grandmother Moons is a free event. We will meet at the Beach Pavilion.

-Registration through Eventbrite is required to attend because space is limited. All participants must receive their own ticket, including children and babies, so we can have an accurate headcount.

-Please come dressed appropriately for an evening of sitting outside.

-13 Grandmother Moons will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled in the case of severe inclement weather. If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will communicate this via our Instagram and Facebook pages and notify all participants through email on the day of the event. We will do our best to reschedule the event to a new date/time.

-Please note this is not a drop-off program. We invite families with at least one adult to come and enjoy this program together.

-Onsite washrooms will be available, if needed.

-Don’t forget to pack a water bottle and nut-free snacks. No pets, please.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Program is first come, first served. Capacity is 40 people. Programs run rain or shine but will be cancelled if severe weather is expected. Please dress for the weather and trail conditions. Be prepared for biting bugs. No pets please. Gate fees apply for those not camping.
