Come to Stratford early and stay late! Construction delays may be significant in summer 2019 so be sure not to miss out on any fun!

Hwy 6 to Embro/401: Replacement of large culvert Aug-Nov

Expect delays but road will not be closed. Hwy 7 detour is suggested as above, if there is an overlap.

Hwy 8 between Stratford and Shakespeare: In progress

Beginning in early June, stretches of this road between the west end of Shakespeare and the east end of Stratford will be reduced on weekdays to a single lane, with flag people controlling traffic in both directions. Delays may be lengthy, so please allow additional time for your trip. (Both lanes are expected to be open on evenings and weekends.)

Snowga

What do you get when you pair snowshoes with yoga? SNOWGA, of course.  An all ages program bringing a little bit of exercise, a little bit of mindfulness, a little bit of history and a whole lot of fun for you and your friends and family on Sundays this winter.

Led by certified yoga instructor and co-proprietor of Yoga Chapple, Joanie Chapple, Snowga begins with a gentle snowshoe trek through the Museum's historical nature trail. Snowgis will stop along the way for gentle yoga poses intended to help stretch and strengthen your body and mind.  (And let's be real, yoga in snowshoes is also pretty hilarious! Get ready for fun!!)

Following your 45 minute Snowga experience, we welcome you to complimentary hot chocolate inside the toasty, warm Museum!

Snowshoe Rental: FREE for all! (If you have your own snowshoes, please feel free to bring them with you)
