Hwy 7: Adding a round-about at Line 26 between Stratford and St. Marys/London/401 W

Daytime delays may be possible during August, however, all roads and the round-about are open.

Hwy 6 to Embro/401: Replacement of large culvert Aug-Nov

Expect delays but road will not be closed. Hwy 7 detour is suggested as above, if there is an overlap.

Hwy 8 between Stratford and Shakespeare: In progress

Beginning in early June, stretches of this road between the west end of Shakespeare and the east end of Stratford will be reduced on weekdays to a single lane, with flag people controlling traffic in both directions. Delays may be lengthy, so please allow additional time for your trip. (Both lanes are expected to be open on evenings and weekends.)

20 on the Trestle -- Tai Chi Demonstration

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Grand Trunk Trail and Trestle with a series of imaginative events on this iconic trail!

Taoist Tai Chi practice includes the 108-move set.

Working on these movements under the guidance of an accredited instructor contributes to better balance and posture, increased strength and flexibility, improved circulation, calmness and peace of mind.

People from all ages, backgrounds and walks of life learn, train and practise together. They have diverse reasons and motivations for their involvement, ranging from a simple enjoyment of the practice, to an interest in the health benefits, to the rewards of participation in a friendly and supportive community, to the pursuit of a spiritual path whose roots reach back to ancient times.  All are welcome and encouraged to participate as they choose.

 Come to the Trestle to watch and participate at 11 a.m.  Parking is available at the Wellington Street North trail access.

This event is wheelchair accessible.
