In this adventurous one-week class with artist instructor, Eugene Paunil, the mantra is "go big or go home!" This class teaches students how to create caricature heads that can be used as puppet heads, parade costumes or simply an exploration of scaling up a large sculptural head. Over the duration of the course students will experiment with different methods to create a light and sturdy head with a whole lot of character.
In this course, participants will learn the following skills:
Discover how to create a caricature in 3 dimensional form.
Learn to utilize wire, tape, paper and more to form a sculpture.
Work in a large scale.
Discuss and implement design and structure.
Glean amazing advice and tips on sculpture and large-scale creation from a master.
