Introduction to Sewing - Off the Wall

In this single weekend course, designed for the beginner sewer, participants learn how to use a sewing machine, and learn both basic pattern-drafting skills and basic sewing-construction skills. What better way to learn than by drafting and sewing 4 small projects in two days: a pillowcase, a tote bag that’s fully lined and includes a pocket, 3 small zipper bags, each with a different zipper application, and a simple skirt.

‹This class is taught by costumer, corset maker and experienced instructor - Linda Sparks of Farthingales.

Cost: $200/Per person - materials provided

Location: 20 Monteith Avenue, Stratford, 20 Monteith Ave, Stratford
