The Stratford Project: Local Life Exhibition

For this kickstart to our 2018 season of art exhibitions we want to do more than just put art on the walls, we want to include all locals and make the experience itself part of the art!!!

One wall will be dedicated to amateur photographers, namely anybody with a camera (or phone.) We are going to call it the "A Day in the Life of a Stratfordian" wall. It could be the trainyards, a rundown home, a delapidated building that was once something majestic.

Art should be fun and insightful, not stuffy and elitist, but nowhere is that harder to accomplish than in a city built on Shakespeare.

For one month our tiny gallery will play host to whatever imagery is conjured up to represent Stratford. It's totally up to you. So go forth and create! Think Ken's French Fry trucks. Think Justin Bieber. Think Allen's Alley. Think working class culture. Think bars and rock and roll. Do whatever you want, but make sure you're having fun doing it. Then join us on March 17 for some drinks and snacks. In fact, if you're the type to cook or bake, please feel free to bring some food to share. That's right this is going to be a potluck event!! Like no other art exhibition ever.

This event is wheelchair accessible.

Cost: Free

Location: Meet Your Maker Gallery and Gift Shop, 62 Wellington Street, Stratford
