Hwy 6 to Embro/401: Replacement of large culvert Aug-Nov

Expect delays but road will not be closed. Hwy 7 detour is suggested as above, if there is an overlap.

Hwy 8 between Stratford and Shakespeare: In progress

Beginning in early June, stretches of this road between the west end of Shakespeare and the east end of Stratford will be reduced on weekdays to a single lane, with flag people controlling traffic in both directions. Delays may be lengthy, so please allow additional time for your trip. (Both lanes are expected to be open on evenings and weekends.)

A Very Victorian Christmas 5th Annual Outdoor Christmas Market!

Downtown Stratford's 5th Annual Outdoor Christmas Market in Market Square & the Avon Theatre is a festive event offering free fun for the whole family!  If you are looking for a unique gift for someone special in your life, there's no doubt you will find it here.  Enjoy warm mulled wine or a local beer, the sounds of Stratford's very own symphony orchestra while you take in the stunning artwork.  You can also visit Santa in the warmth of Avon Theatre, make Victorian crafts and write a letter to Mr Claus so he's sure to remember that special wish on your list! 

NEW this year are SITE Gallery activities AND a fire pit to warm up to! And to top it all off, grab a warm drink and a holiday treat and climb aboard a horse-drawn Carriage Ride at Market Square where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the sights, sounds and streets of Stratford at Christmas!

This event is wheelchair accessible.
