Meet Dee Christensen, Owner of The Planet Diner. Dee grew up in Edmonton, Alberta where it was her Nana who inspired her to pursue her culinary career. When Dee was asked how the culinary landscape of Stratford and area has influenced her cooking, here is what she had to say: “Access to farmers and art as an influence influenced my cooking in Stratford.”

My nana.

3. How has the culinary landscape of Stratford and area influenced your cooking?

Access to farmers. Art as an influence.

4.What dish are you most proud of creating?

The Chick’Un Buffalo Burger (A crispy corn breaded soy chick’un breast, original or tossed in house buffalo butter, with creamy planet sauce served on a warm pretzel hoagie, topped with lettuce and tomato. From menu)

​5.What celebrity would you like to dine with and why?

Stanley Grizzle, because his inspiration was subtle and his legacy great.
