DESCRIPTION:Take your palate beyond first impressions.\nIn this class we will explore the art and structure of wine tasting with a more discerning approach. Learn to distinguish fruit from structure and develop a deeper understanding of the elements that shape a wine’s character: tannin, acidity, sweetness, body, and style.\nThrough guided tasting, we’ll refine your palate, sharpen your vocabulary, and explore how these components come together to create balance, complexity, and expression. We’ll also consider how climate, grape variety, and winemaking influence what we experience in the glass.\nTaste thoughtfully. Identify confidently. Appreciate more deeply.\nSommelier-Instructor ALEXANDRA EVANS\nIndividual class ticket price $75 + HST OR all four classes ticket price $280 + HST\nTHE FINE PRINT:\n1. Participants must be 19 years and older.\n2. The content of each class, and instructor, is subject to change as required.\n3. Light snacks are provided to accompany the wines being tasted.\n4. Classes are held at the School’s Kitchens at 136 Ontario Street, Stratford, ON from 6-8pm.\n5. All pre-paid reservations are non-refundable. You can transfer your ticket to someone else.\n6.
