Kiwanis -- a worldwide service club...

Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. Some 16,000 service clubs in 96 countries totalling more than 600,000 members are committed to: "Serving the Children of the World." Kiwanis has engaged in campaigns to eliminate iodine deficiency, and eradicate neonatal tetanus, on a global scale.

Serving Stratford since 1947...

The Kiwanis Club of Stratford has served the community since 1947. Its many projects have included:

The Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts, since 1952; Queen's Park Tennis Courts, since 1968; Anne Hathaway Park, since 1976; the Kiwanis Community Centre, since 1978; the Kiwanis-CJCS Christmas Basket Fund, since 1980; Kiwanis Summer Concerts in the Park, since 1987; the refreshment booth at the Tom Patterson Theatre, since 1992; and, the Aktion Club of Stratford, since 2005.

The Stratford General Hospital, Children's Hospital of Soutwestern Ontario and Huron-Perth Centre for Children and Youth, are just some of the agencies supported financially by the Stratford Kiwanis Club in recent years.

Stratford Kiwanis Club and Simple Dreams activities are supported in part through the sale of Passport to Savings booklets offering two-for-one and other discounts from 70 or more local merchants. Cost of these popular booklets can be recovered even when used only twice.
