Spring Foraging with Puck's Plenty
One of the first edible mushrooms to appear in the Spring is the Pheasant Back, also known as Dryad's Saddle. Harvested when young, their taste resembles a mild, sweet cucumber. These fungi can be eaten raw or sauteed. Moreover, they can be dried and round into a powder for spicy seasoning. Along with these enticing fungi we will be harvesting wild leeks, trout lily leaves, garlic mustard, and more.

Here's a couple of reviews from Yelp that might prove helpful.

We're hoping to see you on the trails.
