It's the opening of our 2018 season and one of the most delicious plants Mother Nature has to offer is the wild leek. Also known as ramps, these edibles are one of the first plants to arrive in the Spring. Walking through the forest after a rain you can smell their fragrance in the air. This time of year the leaves are the best part as the bulbs are still quite small from their Wintery sleep. Join us on trails only 15 minutes from Stratford as we search for these along with garlic mustard, trout lilies, day lily shoots and more.
