Scanner is a story about the world of First Nations youth living on a reservation and the serious struggles they face while trying to survive in an adult world of intergenerational trauma.  It centers on a young brother and sister who, while attempting to navigate their inner secrets and struggles are trying to find ways of healing.  All the while, they are accompanied by the voices of young women and girls who have come before them whose stories are told through trees and the connection to nature.

This play is made possible by support from:  Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, Factory Theatre, MT Space Theatre, Nightswimming and Marie Beath Badian.  Scanner is currently under development with Factory Theatre as part of their Deep Development Unit.
