Ladies of the CNR

Stratford, 1964. The Canadian National Railway has serviced its final engine. Kitty, Jean and Clara sneak into the cavernous locomotive repair building, their former employ during World War II. The women travel back in time to the 1940s, reliving the world of machines that temporarily held them captive, changing their lives forever."

Ladies of the CNR is a play inspired by the women of Stratford who worked as mechanical assistants in Stratford's Big Shop during WWII.

Each one hour performance will be prefaced by tributes to Stratford women, surprising stories of their brave and marvelous contributions to industry and the war effort.

This event is wheelchair accessible.

Cost: $25/A, $15/CH (Under 12)

Location: Stratford City Hall, Stratford, 1 Wellington Street, Stratford
