My Life: Memoirs as Told By Grief - Stratford Writers Festival

Glenn Dixon travels to Verona to deal with the devastation of a broken heart. Marianne Apostolides describes searching far and wide for a way to deal with the  grief of a life that almost was, and Lorina Mapa explains how depression from the loss of a loved one led her to connect with a life she had left far behind. Moderated by author Alison Wearing, these three memoir authors discuss how personal grief and the journey to overcome this crippling emotion led them down a road of self-discovery and redemption, and demonstrate the ultimate truth in the adage, "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger."

“Stratford itself is the type of walkable wholesome town Rodgers and Hammerstein might write a musical about.”
