Ontario Welsh Festival

An annual celebration of song and all things Welsh.

Friday – Welcome tea. Friday night  - Noson Lawen, a talent night, full of songs, acts and jokes.

Saturday  - a seminar at 11:00 a.m. will feature author Barrie Doyle on the history, legend and the art of storytelling, focusing on how researching the history and legends of Wales are used to bring the nation and it’s people to life.  

Noontime seminar -  Say it in Welsh 1:30 p.m. Cinema Wales

Each year we fly over a choir from Wales to perform a grand concert on the Saturday night following our  banquet. This year we have an award winning choir from Carmathen – Cor Llanddarog.  They are accompanied  by exceptional soloists and instrumentalists
The other main event, the Gymanfa Ganu - a hymn singing festival on the Sunday morning and afternoon.

This event is wheelchair accessible.
