Theatre Production Course - Stage Carpentry (introductory) - Off the Wall

Stage Carpentry is also part of the five-week Theatre Arts Production Program with ARTIST INSTRUCTOR: JEREMY COX

INTRODUCTORY - For beginners.

In this intensive one-week course, participants will learn a variety of techniques used in creating stage sets including interpreting set design drawings and basic drafting skills. They will also learn basic carpentry skills which include: measuring, cutting, fitting, fastening, sanding, rigging and safe use of tools and equipment. Use of a variety of materials and construction methods are taught.

​​KEY INFORMATION

The low student-to-teacher ratio in each course ensures instruction is geared to the participants' skill level and experience. Please indicate your related experience when you register.  The course fee covers the cost of your materials during the course.

Combine either of these courses with another one-week summer course and save $50; combine it with two other one-week summer courses and save $125.
