Wild Violet Pottery featuring Anagama Kiln

On the historical Huron Road just South of New Hamburg

Learn about this ancient firing process by touring a 17 foot long wood-burning kiln and viewing this unique pottery, rich in character. Browse Wild Violet Pottery's Studio and Gallery, housed in a century old barn, where you'll also find functional gas and electric fired pottery.

For 40 years, Gallery Indigena has been a major centre for Canadian indigenous art. The owner, Erla Boyer expresses a love and enthusiasm for native people and their creative work which is reflected in the gallery presentation: quality hand-carved Canadian Inuit and Iroquois Sculpture, Inuit Prints, Paintings, Masks and Wood Art from Canada's Northwest Coast. Exhibitions are presented with artists in attendance. Our resident artist is Stratford's Maxine Noel (Ioyan Mani). Our gift shop boasts "Made in Canada" quality clothing, jewellery and native handicrafts.

Inukshuk Gallery (a division of Gallery Indigena) has been operating in Vancouver on Granville Island for the past three years.
